This course covers fundamental concepts that all early intervention practitioners must understand to effectively provide family-centered, evidence-based services to infants, toddlers, and families.

These courses take 17 hours to complete.

NOTE: If you are a service coordinator, you will need to complete these Initial Certification courses plus an additional course, The Many Facets of Service Coordination.

How to Apply for Virginia Early Intervention Certification
Once you have completed these courses, you must apply for EI certification using the EI Certification Database.
